A week to celebrate WLW Wangxian in all their varieties!2023 prompts now live!

This is a low commitment event! You can contribute as much or as little as you want. The prompts can be interpreted however you want, and you are completely free to combine them, or just use a single prompt, or a couple - whatever you feel most inspired by!
All mediums are accepted including fic, art, vids, playlists, edits, meta, interactive thread fics, etc. We encourage you to post your piece of work to our AO3 collection (instructions here) so that it's easy for others to find and so that everything can be in one place. Of course, please also feel free to post it everywhere else on social media - just make sure to use the hashtag #wlwangxianweek so that we can find and retweet/reblog your work! You can also tag us with @wlwangxianweek on Twitter and Tumblr.
All works should be original creations. Ideally WLW Wangxian should be the main focus, but there are no restrictions on including other ships/characters!
There are no restrictions about what you can create, but we do ask that you tag appropriately for any content warnings or triggers - and don't forget to tag #cw cisswap/genderbend/wlw wangxian/rule 63 for those who don't vibe with WLW Wangxian as much as we do!

What is WLW Wangxian week?
WLW Wangxian week is a celebration of works that feature Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji as women loving women.How does it work?
Pick a prompt (or a couple!) and write/draw/create a WLW Wangxian fanwork centered around it. Post it on the day that matches your prompt and make sure to add it to the collection and tag us to join in!Do I have to follow the prompts?
No! They are there as suggestions/inspiration only. The collection will accept all works that are a) WLW, b) Wangxian, and c) posted between October 9 - 16, 2023.Can I use last year's prompts?
Absolutely! There's a free day on Monday, October 16 where you can post work inspired by last year's prompts, or feel free to post whenever through the week.Can I use more than one prompt as inspiration?
Of course! It's up to you what you do and don't use, whether that's just a single prompt or combinations.Do the prompt titles ("so close", "working up a sweat", etc) count as prompts?
